Throughout my two years of Graphic Design, I have learned so much about Adobe Illustrator and still have yet to learn more. I have learned to use the pen and curvature tools and can say that they drastically improve almost all my artwork. I joined Graphic Design because I have always found a liking to different art styles and have even considered creating my brand. Initially, I figured this class would help improve my artistic abilities and expand my knowledge of different art styles and programs used to create art.

During my first year of Graphic Design, I mainly learned to use shapes and got familiar with the program. However, Covid-19 played a significant role in my learning ability. There were many projects that I was unable to complete due to distance learning. Though Covid-19 came with its disadvantages, as I was unable to practice design in person, I am proud to say that I was able to continue advancing my knowledge of the program.

 

Taking Graphic Design is so helpful to me as it serves useful to me in other classes through various projects and presentations. Throughout this past year in Graphic Design Two, I am glad to say that my art skills have noticeably increased.
